My debut novel "If You Lived Here, You'd be Home Now" is now out!

"Sabrina Neige is afraid of food. That is why she is here, spending her days in a hospital an hour from her home. Torn from her town and her senior year of high school, she is thrown into a partial hospitalization program in recovery for her eating disorder. Missing holidays and homecomings, she works to make the best of a bad situation. Forming friendships, practicing normality, and pulling the occasional pranks, Sabrina turns the hospital into her new home.

Memories of the past, however, haunt her even in these new halls. Taunted by flashes of him, her recovery constantly waivers. Her doctors and dietitians, her therapists and new friends are all a whisper when compared to his roar. As she moves through her recovery she wonders if the man who claimed to love her was right. She wonders if she truly deserves to starve."

I began writing, If You Lived Here, You’d Be Home Now , when I was seventeen years old and admitted
into the Hershey Medical Center for my eating disorder. What originally began as scribblings in my diary
turned into my debut novel about a young woman on the road to recovery. The girls who recovered
alongside me were such a big part of my journey I knew I wanted to write a story that encapsulated what
their kindness did for me. As I kept writing, I started to realize that the story wasn’t just about what I had
gone through, but about so many others who have felt a lack of self worth, out of place, and not
comfortable in their bodies. And though my own experiences are riddled throughout this story, it’s
ultimately about something bigger than myself, the shared feeling of losing your way and learning how to
come home to who you are.

WHAT READERS ARE SAYING:

"... I will say I didn't just read the book, I experienced it! The way it’s written was a fulfilling, engaging read & for me, it was a total page turner. The book pulled me into my own life - it felt extremely relatable in the quiet battles we don’t always say out loud. You don’t need to share the main characters Sabrina’s experience to feel it. .." - Lisa Christian

"…The style of writing and the flashbacks between the hospital and before, grasps the reader....the novel flowed easily throughout itself and it never had a stagnant moment…it was hard to put down…a brilliantly told story with tough topics covered poetically…” - Brynn Axe

I am so proud to announce the upcoming release of my debut novel “If You Lived Here, You’d
